Long Travel Day Edition - Last Weeks Links

So today has been a busy day. Two states, three time zones apart, and multiple delays have led to a very busy day.

Needless to say, I haven't had much time to stop and gather thoughts for a longer blog post. But thats life, and a good one at that.

The weekend was great to see family, and spend some summer time at the parents place in Northern Indiana.

But today, getting up at 5:00 am Eastern and now writing this quickly as I get off work at 5:00 pm Pacific, its been a long day. I'm ready to finally get home, say high to the dog and cat, and crash.

Before I do that, however, here are a few posts that I thought were definitely worth reading last week. I highly recommend all three!

Theology:
Scot McKnight - 10 Reasons to Attend Seminary (Aweseome! I agree!): http://www.patheos.com/blogs/jesuscreed/2012/06/04/ten-reasons-to-attend-seminary/

Jonathan Merritt via Scot McKnight's blog: Wow. I'm saddened: http://www.patheos.com/blogs/jesuscreed/2012/06/01/the-story-of-a-centrist/

Rachel Held Evans - 4 Common Misconceptions about Egalitarians: http://rachelheldevans.com/4-common-misconceptions-egalitarianism

For the record, while I think there has to be a better term to use that Egalitarian (I think "mutuality" is one out there) I will acknowledge I am proudly in this camp (and not Complementarian).
